That's it, that's the prompt. I know Max kinda sorta already knows, but I want Steve hauling everyone out to a deserted parking lot and announcing they're all going to learn. Either as a "just in case" for Upside Down reasons or because they're all about to start driver's ed, or they've already got licenses but no one has shown them how to drive in winter weather yet...I would just like Mama Steve teaching his nuggets this important life skill in his slightly bitchy but ultimately caring and protective way.

Bonus points if Mike turns out to be the only one to treat the beemer with the respect it deserves and turns out to be the best driver and Steve's lowkey kinda mad about it

At some point a comment or an offhand similarity makes him realize Dustin knowing how to style his hair or some other self care thing was from Steve stepping in way more than Eddie realized, or than Steve wants to talk about. Steve has a case of 'men don't talk about helping men' and does not want to talk about how much he's been there for Dustin or teaching him hygiene and life skills stuff.

Eddie loves feeling pretty. He likes feeling... feminine.

He shaves his body hair. He sneakily buys/steals stockings he can wear in private. He does the same with make up. He loves feeling girly and soft. He has mixed feelings about it. Sometimes he feels playful and happy, other times conflicted and ashamed.

Steve either discovers this, or somehow figures it out. Maybe he refers to Eddie as being pretty. Maybe Eddie enthusiastically dresses like a girl for a "girl's night" with Nancy and Robin, pleased he can pass it off as just for fun, and Steve happens to be there at first. He sees how Eddie's not just joking. He's enjoying his clothes, his hair, his make up.

Anything along these lines is fine but I'd also be very into smut, with Steve feminizing Eddie and Eddie finding out he's really, really turned on by it.

Pretty much all the party already knows Eddie is queer, and kinky. Steve goes to him. He’s been having too many nightmares about drowning, about being choked out by demobats and suspended by the neck by vines. He’s freezing up at the idea of losing breath. Steve’s not allowed to freeze up, he’s the fighter, the protector, he has to be able to get past it.

Steve asks Eddie to try breathplay on him, to make him associate it with Eddie and sex and safety. Eddie doesn’t think this is the most mentally healthy thing, but Steve makes it pretty clear he’s not gonna let it drop, he gonna drive up to Indianapolis to find a bar, or try autoerotic asphyxiation, and both of those are far worse solutions than Eddie being in control. When Scott Clarke is twelve, only a few months before the end of the school year, a new student entered his seventh grade class.

Henry Creel, having just moved to Hawkins, is next to him in first period English, and somehow he manages to evade bullying by keeping nearly silent and fading perfectly into the background.

++ As an adult, Mr. Clarke is able to look at the situation without fully blaming himself, but as far as he's concerned, no father decides in one night to murder his children, so he thinks Henry was failed by many people across many social nets who either didn't notice or outright ignored signs that Henry needed help.
+++ Will's disappearance in S1 triggered this old guilt in Mr. Clarke. He's able to cope far better than he could when he was a child, and his girlfriend is completely supportive, but he loses sleep over it. It's also why he let Dustin call him in the middle of the night to ask how to make a sensory deprivation tank :')
++++ Somehow he talks about this with the kids. They listen respectfully but silently freak out about how the guilt that forever altered the trajectory of Mr. Clarke's entire life was grounded on lies.
+++++ Mr. Clarke never finds out the truth. No one has the heart to tell him.

When Eddie (O) pins Steve(A) to the wall with a bottle to his neck, that flash of “about to die”-adrenaline mixed with scent of a compatible potential mate kicks off both Eddie’s heat and Steve’s rut.

Around S3 Steve takes some pills at a party but

Eddie is dying after the demobat attack, but is not dead yet. As a final bid for survival before shutdown, his body produces heat pheromones (without actually going into heat). This A) makes him easier to locate, B) indicates he’s still among the living, and C) sends the protective instincts of any nearby Alphas (ie Steve) into overdrive.

Result being Eddie is NOT left in the Upside Down. The false-heat-pheromones fade fast once Eddie is stable, but Steve’s still being protective, attentive, and Eddie’s just enjoying it while it lasts.

TL;DR: Dying-Eddie’s false heat makes Steve speed-run his bi-crisis.

For some reason (Upside Down nonsense, Hawkins Lab experiment, the Russians, etc), the teenagers begin to develop into a Cluster, understandably somewhat confused and freaked out by their sudden ability to hear each other's thoughts and even take the wheel when the situation calls for it. How does it benefit and hinder them? How do they respond to such a situation in a world where Vecna and the Mind Flayer are threats?

I would really like to see more Eddie whump. Him really ill, Steve caring for him dotingly. I don’t care which rating but preferably gen?

I’d love for this to be in a canon or canon adjacent universe, where he’s Seen Some Shit, but that’s not even what he’s fucked up about. Monsters existing don’t mean shit, when compared to being an extrovert who’s lost every single one of his friends, with parents who hate him, who has grades so bad he might not even graduate.

Bonus points if Eddie absolutely recognizes King Steve’s voice.
