Or Vecna/the Mind Flayer (depending on what you think is up with the lore there) hasn’t forgotten about Will one bit. You can go canon compliant where it’s just Vecna/Mind Flayer’s creepy perspective on Will during this era or you can go canon divergence and give them a one on one encounter featuring Flayed!Billy (in that case smut or no smut is up to you).
