After a few years of dead-end retail work, someone (I’m thinking one of the hyper-thirsty Moms from the pool) propositions Steve now that’s he’s “all grown up” (ie no longer a minor). Steve agrees, and keeps agreeing as more “customers” present themselves. It’s more money than he’d make renting videos, and it’s the only thing he was ever any good at, anyway.
