Steve’s been courting Nancy, and is gravely offended by Jonathan’s pictures. That’s a duelable offence. But he thinks the proposal is lost when Nancy begins to go after Jonathan, the trash that he is. Then he sees how brave Jonathan is, and how well Nancy and Jonathan work together. Christmas finds Steve doing something nearly unthinkable; offering a double mate proposal. It’s highly scandalous, but Nancy and Jonathan make Steve not care.
