A riff on my previous prompt, but… Steve dating ofcs or omcs, and Robin dating ofcs, like a Five Times thing. Five times their significant others broke up with/had an argument with Steve/Robin over them putting the other over the S.O.
Could be little things building up, like Robin gets passenger seat while Mary has to have the backseat, or Jenna’s coat getting thrown onto a chair because the closet only has so much room and of course it’s Steve’s coat that hangs up. Could be big things, like a cancelled long planned vacation because Steve broke his ankle, or Robin not caring if Steve comes in to pee and shave while she and Carrie are having shower sex. I just want a fic where friendship is far more important to them than their romantic relationships, and the S.O.s being offended, because society says romance is the be all and end all, and Steve and Robin genuinely not giving a shit if the S.O. doesn’t like it, the only time Robin doesn’t get passenger is if Dustin is in town.
