Everyone in the party kinda knows Will’s gay, but Mike thought no one would ever talk about it. It’s the right thing to do, to keep Will safe, right? Except Mike walks in on Dustin and Will fucking, and thinks they’re dating. In the middle of a rant about how Dustin’s not even that cool, he was the last of the boys to come to the Party, and he’s not even by Will’s side during all the Upside Down events, that’s Mike, Mike has the oh. OH. moment, and realises he loves Will.

Lucky for him, Dustin and Will have just been fuckbuddies, releasing tension. Dustin happily cedes the floor to love.
