A good prompt will specify what ship(s) you'd like to see in the fill and then some description of what you'd also like to see, for example, "[character]/[character], making out in the Upside Down." You can go into detail or keep it short, it's up to you. When you click 'reply' to this post it should give you the option of a subject line - this is where you can give the general idea of your prompt: the ship, the kink or 'jist' of your prompt - and then you can add more detail in the comment box before posting.

Writers, you can fill a prompt by simply replying to it. If things take off, I'll try and organize it better but for now it'll be great to get some prompts (and hopefully fills) flowing.

Feel free to crosspost your fills onto AO3 if you wish. Maybe we could get a Stranger Things Kinkmeme tag going over there!

Steve had actually already applied to several schools prior to the events of S1. But when the acceptance letters started arriving, he hid them and claimed he didn’t get in anywhere. He couldn’t leave knowing his friends might not be safe and couldn’t handle the thought of being out or reach when they might need him.

Someone finds this stash and it finally clicks just how traumatized Steve really is.

I will tentatively claim this...query OP, how angsty do you want Steve giving up the opportunity to be? Like did he actually get into some really good schools on merit he worked hard for and his trauma and paranoia forced him to pass on his dream school, or did, like, his parents' money do a little talking and it ups his self-loathing and feelings of inadequacy that he can't even make himself take an opportunity he barely worked for?

OP here.

I’d lean towards the former. Perhaps a bit of both? I could see him into some decent schools based on swimming/other sports, possibly even with scholarships, while also getting into more prestigious (Ivy league?) schools because of connections.

Excellent, thank you :) I know it says "Any" but do you have a preference for it being a pairing (my default is Steddie right now, but I'm not opposed to others if you've a preference) or just gen (in which case it'd prolly focus on Steve and Dustin or Steve and Max)
