I don’t know why but I need karate Stranger things. I don’t want the character to be forced into the cobra Kai/karate Kid character moulds. I want them to be themselves, only doing karate and take part in tournaments.

I feel really bad asking this, but I’ve been listening to a bunch of true crime things for school and school shootings are being covered at the moment.

I would like a school shooting fic in Hawkins high or Hawkins middle school. Obviously I want all the kids and all the older teens to still be in school. I need protective older teens of the middle schoolers.

Bonus for Billy being protective and he comes into his own as an older sibling.
Bonus for Steve standing up to the shooters and maybe taking one down to protect the kids or the older siblings (because he’s a self sacrificing idiot that we all love) and gets separated from them and then ends up with Eddie and Robin somehow.

Like an au where they don’t know each other at the beginning really but the school shooting throws them all together. With some Parallels to the stranger things series.

Dustin has had the worst weekend dealing with extended family. Maybe he had to deal with his Dad's side of the family and they were shitty to him about his nerdy interests. Maybe an aunt got him a Ouji board as some sort of sick test to see if he'd be excited about it or reject the Devil Board. A family reunion or Christmas just turned to complete shit. People who he thought cared about him, even if they don't see him a lot, clearly don't.

Steve winds up doing something with Dustin to show him he's cared about. He can't fix the problem, but he can look after him in the wake of a truly shitty experience with the people who are supposed to care about him.

Mrs. Henderson is a saint and Dustin clearly loves her, whatever happened was not her fault. Maybe she was also caught off-guard. I just want Steve being a good brother-by-choice to Dustin dealing with that sort of hurt.

Jason Carver dies when the gates tearing open vaporize his body, but then he wakes up a week before the beginning of spring break. Eager to make the most of this second chance, Jason immediately goes out and preemptively murders Eddie Munson, and things go downhill from there. Chrissy still dies horribly. Patrick still dies horribly. Some other people Jason doesn't care about also die horribly, but he isn't paying attention to them.

The world goes to hell, and at some point Jason dies too, but then he wakes up a week before the beginning of spring break. Eager to make the most of this third chance, Jason immediately goes out and preemptively murders Eddie Munson and as many other members of Hellfire as he can get his hands on before the police catch him, and things go downhill from there. The world goes to hell, and at some point Jason dies too.

He wakes up a week before the beginning of spring break, yet again. A lot more bad decisions ensue....

Jason Carver is stuck in a time loop. Every time he dies, he wakes up a week before the start of spring break. He doesn't know it, but the only way to break the cycle is to keep both himself and Chrissy Cunningham alive past the death of Henry Creel, which is going to be really difficult considering how little he knows about what is actually going on and how bad he is at listening when people tell him that he's wrong.

The endgame relationship(s) can be be whatever the author wants.

After he graduates, Steve decides to just take off. They're pretty sure the gates are closed, it's not like anyone's going to need him. His parents are probably going to kick him out any day, at least this way he gets the last laugh.
He tells Hopper in the unlikely event anyone comes looking for him, and says goodbye to Dustin, but other than that he just takes off without a word. As a result, he misses the entirety of S3.
How do people react to him leaving? How does him not being there impact events?
Possible endings -
1. Steve ends up in California, and the Byers' encounter him after they move. He then gets dragged into things
2. Steve sees the news of Chrissy's death and recognises it as UD related. He reluctantly heads back to Hawkins to offer his help. He then gets dragged into things

Gareth and Eddie are casually getting stoned and making out in a random pumpkin field in November 84. They fool around sometimes, but they’re not sure how in love they are, besides being besties. Much to their surprise Billy Hargrove’s car goes careening past and a beat to shit Steve Harrington and four middle schoolers tumble out. They scream about staying safe and people needing help for a minute before rappelling into a random hole in the ground.

Option A: Gareth and Eddie are super curious, they follow the party down on the rope they left, and see some gnarly shit.

Option B: Whatever The Hair is getting up to isn’t their business, and they only have so much time to fool around before Eddie’s gotta take Gareth home. But they’re still there when Steve and everyone resurface.

Either way, they offer to drive the kids home, so the 12 year old doesn’t have to. Then they meet up and in commiseration with other beatings they’ve gotten, they offer Steve a joint and a blowjob.

So someone/someone’s time travel. Would love for it to be Dustin/Robin/Erica/Eddie or any one those combinations, but it can be anyone. And they travel like too far back, like they were aiming for 1983 but ended up in like 1978 or something, like when Steve is still a kid himself, not yet really popular and just starting to get into sports.

Just imagine little Erica coming straight up to 12 year old Steve and declaring that he’s going to be her babysitter, or him suddenly being followed round by little Dustin. Or Robin just inserting herself into his life in school during lunch and stuff. Or Eddie standing up for Steve in an altercation or something.

And Steve has no idea what’s going on. And like the person(s) who’ve time travelled just picked Steve as their go to person because of whatever reasons (like Dustin wants his big brother back and if he gets him earlier that’s fine, or Robin can’t come with not having Steve by her side or whatever)

I’m in a time travel kink here.

What if all/some are able to send a note to their past selves. To prepare themselves for what’s to come.

Everyone who can sends themselves helpful notes. Except Steve, whose note is more along the lines of;
“You are an asshole and you need to pull your head out of your ass and make sure those kids, and everyone else stays safe and alive and happy. That’s your only fucking job. Do not screw it up”

And when future them, or past them uncover this note and realise what it says they all go on a full Harrington intervention, because what they hell. And Steves like “what? I had to make sure you were safe. I’m expendable, a… tank or whatever you call it in your nerdy game”

When the demobats catch Eddie, they still take a few bites out of him, but mostly they're more interested in fucking him and filling him with their eggs. Dustin doesn't get close enough to see what's happening until Vecna is defeated and Eddie is able to start digging himself out of the pile of now dead bats, so Dustin doesn't realize just how bad things got and Eddie doesn't want to tell him about it. However, this means that by the time Eddie finally talks to someone (Steve? Owens? Someone else?) about getting help getting the eggs out, it's too late, and they have fully implanted and started changing Eddie's body to make him a more hospitable host.

It's up to the Author what, if any, other ships they want to include and whether the baby demobats growing in Eddie (which may or may not share some of his DNA) are evil and need to be destroyed or if they answer to Eddie as leader of their personal hivemind instead of Henry and therefore can be allowed to live/won't die if the gates are closed.

What if the Upside Down's version of Lovers' Lake wasn't dry, so when Steve gets dragged through the Watergate he finds himself getting mauled by the Upside Down's version of mermaids instead of demobats, and, being the Upside Down, these mermaids have more in common with demogorgons than with they media's typical depiction of pretty humans with fish tails? And, what if, by the time that the others save Steve (or if he has to fight off the mermaids himself due to the others not being able to immediately get through the gate for whatever reason), he has been infected and begins slowly transforming into a horrific Upside Down merperson himself. Bonus points if the transformation involves multiple stages and sometimes full body molting like Dart did, the more body horror, the better.

It's up to the author whether by the transformation is triggered by Steve getting injected by venom, or fucked full of mutagenic mermaid fluids and/or eggs, or as the consequence of eating mermaid flesh when he bites back, or whatever other method. It's also up to the author what other characters/ships the story includes and how happy or dark the ending is.

Post s4, Eddie flirts with Steve, a lot. Princess, big boy, talking about his muscles, hair twirling, all the classics.

At first Steve thinks it’s a joke between buddies, and it’s a lot nicer one than the way the basketball team talked to each other. Then he figures out that Eddie is gay, and means it. Steve stalls out on politely letting him down, he’s seen all of Robin’s queer heartbreak and wants to be as nice as he can to Eddie, wants to not be another straight boy traumatizing a gay kid. He starts thinking about all the girls who have flirted with him, and honestly, Eddie’s got good game. He’d make a good girlfriend, if only, Steve really likes him as a dude.

Queue internal realisation, and discussion with robin. Steve’s bi, and he wants to date Eddie. No reason to hold back, Eddie’s a sure thing. He makes a beeline for Eddie’s trailer.

Eddie is seven million percent blindsided. He’s straight, he flirts with everyone, bus drivers, cashiers, grannies, etc. Steve The Hair Harrington, Casanova hawkins wide, LIKES him, what the fuck is happening?

Steve backs off, goes to nurse his wounds with Robin and Dustin (because there’s no way Steve doesn’t immediately tell his little buddy). Dustin is extremely bitchy at Hellfire. Eddie thinks more about the hottest guy in hawkins wanting him, and what that’d feel like, being his boyfriend.

They end up together, obviously.

The guy’s at his house with his band, a bunch of metalhead weirdos. All of them treat figuring this out like another quest/fuck authority why shouldn’t we sneak into the mall at night rebellion. At least until half of them are down a Russian elevator, and there’s a meat-monster crashing through the ceiling.

Maybe because demobats, maybe handwavey whatever, Steve develops telepathy. He shortly figures out thst he’s attractive to pretty much everybody in Hawkins, it’s like a constant bombardment of flirty/sexual thoughts aimed at him. He kinda thought Will was gay, sorta expected a puppy love crush, but Mike and Max have a lot of thoughts about his treasure trail. And Mrs Wheeler has weird harlequin fantasy thoughts as do most of her mom phone tree. It’s honestly really awkward. His only saviour is Robin, who’s inner monologue is truly no different than her outer one, and very soothing.
