Bonus points if at least one of the Party members knows who/what Steve is, and once they realise Eddie knows, has a convo with him about the dark usefulness of someone that protective being on your side.

I'd love to see Eddie finding Steve in rough shape after getting himself in over his head. Steve is a white guy from a wealthy family and is used to feeling very safe in most places and he was overconfident. Whether he got in over his head at a BDSM club because he didn't take it seriously enough and though it would be more theatrics than reality, or he wound up with a guy who was rough with him and the situation turned bad, or any number of things. Just Eddie covering Steve up and helping him get cleaned up. Steve accepting some comfort from Eddie preferred, but an unhappy ending of Steve refusing to talk about it and fleeing as soon as he is tidied up enough to get home also works.
